Total Time: 11 minutes
Servings: 6 spears per serving
Ingredients
  • 1 bunch Asparagus (Ends cut off)
  • 1 Tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste - optional)
Instructions

Pan Fry

  • Heat skillet over medium heat.
  • Add asparagus, then garlic, salt, pepper, and EVOO or Butter
  • Rotate until asparagus starts to soften. Cook to desired doneness.

Roast or Grill

  • Preheat grill or oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place asparagus on baking sheet, veggie tray, or aluminum foil boat.
  • Drizzle with EVOO or melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic and seasonings of choice.
  • Place in oven or grill and cook until desired doneness, stirring and rotating 1-2 times. (usually 10-15 minutes in the oven)
Notes
Serve immediately.  Asparagus cools quickly, have this be the last dish you add to your plate, straight from the oven. We do not like reheated asparagus so if we plan to eat leftovers the following night we split the bunch in half and cook it as we reheat the other dishes.
