I prefer to make and prep meals when I can, it saves money and usually calories too! Sometimes time is lacking though and the convenience is worth spending a bit extra. Heat & Eat Breakfast Egg Cups are low carb and even easy to eat on the go!

Heat & Eat Breakfast Egg Cups

There are several different brands and varieties available.

If you want to keep Fats in check, choose veggies instead of bacon or sausage.

This is my favorite brand!

Here in the midwest, Three Bridges Bites can be found at Target, Costco, & Sprouts.

FAQs:

Do I need to thaw the frozen vegetables? Nope! The vegetables do not need to be thawed ahead of time. They will be cooked through when added to the skillet.

What are some sauces I can add? Beef gravy, steak sauce, or ketchup.

What is another variation I can make? Make it Mexican! Swap seasonings above for 1/4 cup taco seasoning and cook with 1/2 cup of water to the meat. Sauce a few minutes until it thickens. Top with mexican blend instead of cheddar.

What other substitutions I can make? Use lamb to make it traditional shepherd’s pie.

Or try half beef and half lamb. If you don’t like potatoes, try cooked rice or refrigerated biscuits instead!
