Servings: 5 servings
Ingredients
- 1 roll cinnamon rolls
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 2-3 tbsp Stevia (can substitute with swerve or sugar)
Instructions
- Preheat oven as directed on Cinnamon Rolls. Grease round baking pan.
- Mix together pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, and Stevia or Sugar.
- Keep the rolls in the fridge until ready to use, the dough is easier to work with when cold. Open can of cinnamon rolls. Try to keep them connected together as much as possible.
- Unroll rolls onto a platter or cutting board.
- Spread pumpkin mixture onto dough. Keep it thin, it will squish everywhere if you get too much.
- Roll individual cinnamon rolls up and move to greased baking pan. Slide a spatula underneath if you need to.
- Bake according to directions on package, top with frosting that comes with them!
Notes
This is a "Fun" recipe and should be enjoyed on Moderate or High Carb days only. You should also be mindful of how much sugar you consume the remainder of the day. It would be best to enjoy a roll paired with eggs or a protein shake.
