Notes
If you don’t cook with cast iron, you should try! You’ll love that it holds heat longer and you can take it straight to the table. The more you cook with it, the better it gets! I love the new line from Ayesha Curry because the colors are beautiful! 😍
If you’ve heard about macros but really aren’t sure where to start or what your ratios should be, we have a free calorie calculator! Be certain to read the instructions about what each number means before you get started.
LoseIt! is my favorite app for logging food. It does have a small fee to use but the food database is SO good and I love that I can set my goals to be more strict during the week and allow for more flexibility on the weekends. MyFitnessPal is probably the most popular app available and the good thing with that is you probably have several friends using it already and it is free!
Of course the calorie calculator here on our site is only a tool with some figures. If you are serious about losing weight or improving your health, I recommend hiring a coach or nutritionist for personalized recommendations based on your goals and medical history. The calculator calculates with scientific formulas, it isn’t personalized!
