This week, I’m sharing a low impact cardio workout!

If you haven’t exercised in years (or maybe ever) it is hard to get started in a new workout routine.  You aren’t used to moving your body certain ways, jumping around hurts your knees, and it’s frustrating if you can’t keep up!

The workouts I provide to my ladies always have modifications to meet them at any fitness level.  They receive a short video each day where we talk about form, how they can change the exercise if they have limitations, and ways to increase difficulty when they are ready.  It’s like having a personal trainer right in your living room!  Today I want to show beginners a quick workout that you can complete at home with two 16 ounce water bottles or no equipment!

Video Demonstrations

Dumbbell Hop Overs

Bodyweight Lunge

Cross body Pull Down

Step Ups

Do some light cardio and stretching before and after you workout.  This will help to gradually raise and lower your heart rate plus it helps prevent injuries!  Take 1-2 minutes in between rounds to rest and grab a drink, try to move from one exercise to the next with little to no rest. Choose a number of reps that is challenging for your fitness level.  The last couple should be difficult!

Do you like the low impact workouts?!  Would you like to see more of them? Let me know!
