Ingredients
1lbbaconCooked, Drained and Chopped
½lbground beef or turkey
1tablespoonolive oil
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonred pepper flakes
Salt & pepper to taste
1lbWhole Wheat or Gluten Free Pasta
1cupmayo
¼cupBBQ sauce
1tablespoonworcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsspicy mustard
2tablespoonshot sauce
1can whole corndrained
1cupGrape or Cherry Tomatoeshalved
1cupcheddar cheesecubed or shredded, for garnish
¾cupgreen onionreserve some for garnish
Instructions
Cook pasta per package directions, drain, drizzle with olive oil and set aside
In the same skillet, cook the ground meat until done in the same pan along with the onion, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper
Stir in mayo, barbeque sauce, worcestershire sauce, mustard, and hot sauce until well combined
Add in corn and tomatoes
Stir in cooked pasta
Garnish with cheese and reserved green onion
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
This is a mod carb meal. I recommend using Turkey to keep the fat down in this recipe but lean beef also works!For our family of 4 (one teenage boy) I always cook at least double the recipe.
