- Roast – Pot Roast or Chuck Roast
- Dry Ranch Seasoning
- Brown Gravy Mix
- Salted Butter
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- Pepperoncinis – optional

Ingredients
- 4 lb Pot Roast or Chuck Roast (3-4 pound)
- 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning
- 1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
- 1 stick salted butter
- 8 pieces Pepperoncinis (– Optional)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Pat the meat dry, season with salt and pepper.
- Pre-heat your pan to medium-high
- Sear roast for 1-2 minutes on each side. (some slow cookers have a meat searing option so you don’t have to use a separate pan but this step is optional.)
- Place in crock pot with butter, ranch seasoning, gravy, and pepperoncinis
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours or high heat for 5

Tips
- If you are setting this up on a work day before you head out the door, searing is optional. This can help add flavor, but I have made it both ways and throwing the whole thing in the crock is still delicious!

FAQs:
Is this pot roast gluten free? You will need to check your gravy to see if it contains wheat. I have had good luck with McCormick’s Brown Gravy.
