Sheet Pan Tacos

Though 40 ounces of meat should be enough for ten four ounce servings, this feeds our family of four for one evening!

Servings: 1 Sheet (about 8 Servings)
Ingredients
  • 2.5 Pounds Lean Ground Beef (or Turkey)
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Low Sodium Taco Seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Taco Toppings (– Shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, avocado, jalapeños, sour cream, salsa, pico de gallo, etc.)
Instructions
  • Preheat oven to 400 Degrees.
  • Mix meat, onion, taco seasoning, and salt.
  • Press into a baking/cookie sheet with an edge all the way around.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, use spatulas to loosen around the edges and remove from the pan in one piece to a large cutting board.
  • Drain the grease and return the hamburger back to the pan.
  • Sprinkle with 2-3 cups of shredded cheese and put back in the oven until melted.
  • Remove and top with desired taco toppings.
