Servings: 1 serving
Ingredients
- 4-6 ounces Beef Steak
- Steak Marinade (Make your own or use a premade, low sugar option)
Instructions
- Coat meat in marinade, try to get as much meat in contact with the marinade as possible. Place in ziplock or tupperware and cover for one hour.
- Flip steaks, return to fridge for another hour.
- Grill your steak to desired doneness.
- Remove from grill and let set about 5 minutes before serving
Notes
Most steaks will be more than one serving. Plan to eat leftovers the following day or repurpose the extra!
Filets - Most tender but less flavor
Ribeye - Fat throughout and on the edges gives this cut a lot of flavor. Less tender than Filet.
Strip - More chewy and less fat than a ribeye but also often more affordable.
T-Bone - Giant cut of meat. A filet and strip separated by the bone.
Flank - Inexpensive and somewhat tough, best cooked into dishes not the best choice to eat alone.
Skirt - More marbling (fat) than flank but also inexpensive
