Anytime I see a caramel apple in the store, I think it looks beautiful and delicious…but then I remember how much work they are to eat and how messy it will be! This recipe is incredibly simple to make and much more manageable to eat!

I don’t know about you, but it seems like whenever we are hosting (or heading out to) a party, I try to do all the things before we leave and as a result, I’m always running behind on time.  It never fails! I’m always rushing around right before we head out the door.

These caramel apples literally only take minutes but when you add festive sprinkles, people think you did something super creative! Perfect for those days you need something quick and easy!

tips for caramel apple prep

  • Try to prep within a few hours of serving. This will help keep sprinkles from bleeding and apples from turning brown.
  • Drizzling lemon juice lightly on the slices will help keep them from turning brown. You won’t want to soak them though so the caramel still sticks!
  • I like to use a 16 slice apple corer, the pieces are almost flat on the cookie sheet, and easy to eat!
  • You can serve with fun toothpicks or place plain ones in a decorative cup.
  • Before covering to place in the fridge, poke a toothpick in the corner apples and one in the center to keep plastic wrap from getting stuck in the caramel.
